About Corville NS

Thank you for showing an interest in our school. We hope you find us friendly and welcoming. Our aim is for all children to be happy, successful and develop an enthusiasm for learning. We aim to develop good relationships between home and school, with parents feeling fully involved in their child’s education.

At Scoil Iosef Naofa, Corville we believe that all children are special, regardless of their individual needs. Our ethos, therefore, is one in which children are valued and have a chance to develop their self-esteem and are encouraged to work together supporting each other and valuing individuality.

Children learn to take responsibility for their own actions in an environment where effort and success are celebrated.

School Philosophy

This vision of education can be expressed in the form of these general aims:

  • To enable the child to live a full life as a child and to realise his or her potential as a unique individual.
  • To enable the child to develop as a social being through living and co-operating with others and so contribute to the good of society in Roscrea.
  • To prepare the child for further education and lifelong learning.
