Murphy Medical is a GP surgery located in Roscrea. The practice was started by Dr. Charles A Murphy with his wife Maureen in 1976 and located at Main Street, Roscrea. We moved to Mount Heaton in 1978.
In October 2023 we moved to our current premises, here on the 1st floor of the Roscrea Primary Care Centre in the Malthouse on Gaol Road. Our surgery is wheelchair accessible and parking is available directly outside the surgery.
We offer a wide variety of medical services to medical card and private patients including antenatal and postnatal care, women’s health, childhood vaccinations, sports medicine and regular check-ups. We also provide clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma and COPD.
Dr Brendan Murphy holds a Friday morning clinic in Ballyskenagh Killavilla G.A.A clubhouse.
